We were delighted to produce videos for a number of companies around the Commonwealth Games, including Glasgow 2014 themselves.
Our Commonwealth Games journey started in 2013 when we were asked to produce a video about tickets for the badminton. The Games team had their own in house video producer, but he couldn’t be everywhere at once.
We had a fun morning filming with the Scotland team and even got one of them to wear a wee GoPro camera for action shots!
Badminton is very fast sport which makes for exciting video. Here is the finished piece.
As we got into 2014, another piece of work came our way from the Games organisers. This time it was a press launch video. It caused a bit of a stushie at the time, but there was lots of excellent feedback for the video itself.
At Games time, we were lucky enough to be out and about sampling the atmosphere while filming. We spent a day getting feedback from people about the Games and how easy it was to get around for SPT (Strathclyde Passenger Transport) Sometimes getting people to speak on camera can be difficult, but the buzz and positive feel of the games meant everyone was happy to chat!
Our 3rd Glasgow 2014 related client was UNICEF . We were delighted to be working for the games charity partner who had lots of activities at Glasgow Green as well as a special Clyde outside St Enoch Station.
We made a special thank you video for the all their supporters in recognition of the money raised during the Glasgow games.
